OPENING cultural SEASON WITH PREVIEWS IN DEN HAAG AND ALKMAAR
The new season is just around the corner, and we are eager to go on tour with J.S. Bach - the Apocalypse. From January we will be in Dutch theatres, but for those who can't wait, we will soon give a sneak peek at the Koninklijke Schouwburg in The Hague and the Taqa Theater de Vest in Alkmaar.
On Saturday 2 September, we will open the cultural season at the Spotlight Festival Den Haag venue. We will do so with a preview of J.S. Bach - the Apocalypse at the Koninklijke Schouwburg. At 17:00, 17:30. and 18:00, artistic director Serge van Veggel will talk about the performance. Lauren Armishaw will perform two excerpts from the opera. She will be accompanied on piano by Shintaro Kawahara.
ALKMAAR
On Friday 15 September, together with the Taqa Theater de Vest in Alkmaar, we will celebrate the cultural season starting again with the Speelkwartier. We celebrate along, with two short previews of J.S. Bach - the Apocalypse in the Grote Kerk in Alkmaar. At 20:15 and 22:15, our dramaturgy staff member Meia Oei will give a short introduction to the opera. Soprano Lauren Armishaw sings two excerpts, again accompanied by Shintaro Kawahara.
