Stichting OPERA2DAY Foundation pursues and aims to:<\/p>\n

  • contributing to local, national and international opera culture<\/li>\n
  • stimulating opera talent<\/li>\n
  • involving and reaching new target groups for opera<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The foundation does not aim to make a profit.<\/p>\n

    Organisation & Governance<\/h3>\n

    Stichting OPERA2DAY uses the Supervisory Board model.<\/p>\n

    Management & Board<\/h3>\n

    <\/p>\n

    OPERA2DAY has a three-member management team. The artistic director and the musical director form the executive board. They are all statutorily authorized and share joint final responsibility. The management team reports directly to the Supervisory Board and consists of:<\/p>\n

    • Harm Witteveen (Management)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Remuneration Policy<\/h3>\n

      The salary and the regulation of the other terms of employment of the directors are determined by the Supervisory Board, with due observance of the prevailing laws and regulations (Wet normering bezoldiging topfunctionarissen publieke en semipublieke sector<\/em>).<\/p>\n

      Members of the Supervisory Board receive no remuneration for performing their duties. Expenses incurred by members in the performance of their duties are reimbursed on a claim basis.<\/p>\n

      OPERA2DAY employees are covered by the collective labour agreement (CAO) Theater en Dans.<\/em><\/p>\n

      Cultural Governance Code<\/h3>\n

      The Supervisory Board applies the Cultural Governance Code. It forms a guiding instrument for the Supervisory Board in its supervision. The directors are responsible for the organisation. The articles of association describe which decisions require the prior approval of the Supervisory Board, clearly indicating the limits of the management\u2019s powers under the articles of association. Financial control has been formalised through the adoption of regulations and the formation of an audit committee.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
