NOW WE ARE EARTH / An Orchestra is a musical and visual dance opera by theater maker Nicole Beutler. In each city of the tour, we invite a local choir of enthusiastic music lovers to bring the performance to life together! Whether you're an experienced singer or simply enjoy singing, everyone is welcome.
The Performance
NOW WE ARE EARTH is a love letter to the Earth and a call for more harmony and connection. Under the direction of composer Timo Tembuyser and with the electronic beats of Gary Shepherd, the performance unites professional performers, composers, and local singers. Together, we create a unique, unforgettable experience.
The Music
The choir, consisting of around 40 singers, forms the beating heart of the performance. It symbolizes diversity, collaboration, and the power of local communities.
Under the direction of conductor Tristan Knelange, you will work on three- and four-part English melodies during rehearsals. These melodies repeat and grow in complexity and intensity.

Saturday, May 24: Rehearsal 10:00 – 16:30 (Location: Het Klooster Oude Noorden)
Tuesday, May 27: Rehearsal from 17:30 and evening performance during O. Festival at Theater Rotterdam
