L'Orfeo: coproduction with the Nederlandse Reisopera
In the season 2019-2020 OPERA2DAY teams up with the Nederlandse Reisopera and Studio Drift to produce L’Orfeo by Claudio Monteverdi. Hernán Schvartzman, OPERA2DAY's musical leader, will conduct the performance and together with Mike Fentross assembled the orchestra of La Sfera Armoniosa. The musicians use period instruments.
The production can be viewed 10 times in January and February in theatres throughout the Netherlands.
